We have seen good results.

Could you share on how you got it to work?

We are running on ESXi 5U1 and a updated Nexenta release, but we still got the "macalloc() failed" when using VMXNET3.

vmxnet3 works in the 3.1.2 Enterprise Trial for me so it must be baked in. I get 10Gbe and can set MTU to 9000. If I manually install Nexentastor CE, I receive the "macalloc() failed" message even after installing VMware tools.

I seemed to have made a mistake earlier.. vmxnet3 is scheduled for release with 3.1.3, but if you have it now, then great

Hi Linda,

Just for confirmation, here are some screenshots of my setup. I get better performance with NFS and vmxnet 3 vs. ISCSI and e1000 or vmxnet3, BTW. Nice product.
