Community manager - is it still there?

Added by Mat Simon 10 months ago

For quite some time Linda Kateley used to be a Nexenta community manager (for both enterprise custs. as well as community) - I currently don't know from the inside if that's still the case or not - of no if Nexenta has nominated people stepping in or if the focus is shifting somehow.

Can you share a little if possible?

Dunno, but it's gotten kinda quiet here it seems...

I recently joined Nexenta, and plan to be focusing on these community pages. Kinda tied up this/last week with orientation and such, but I'll pick up soon.

G'day Derek - welcome on board!

Thank for your message, so it confirms that Nexenta keeps growing and things keep changing :)

Is Linda still at Nexenta? Anyone know?

A couple of days back, I sent her email. Still no response, which is very unusual!

Humm, I wonder the reasons Linda is no longer with Nexenta.

Despite all the discussions she have had with us I got the feeling she wanted to do change some things but never got much support from management and maybe from Engineering so wondering if anything related might have triggered her departure from Nexenta. Having experienced a bit of "Nexenta's Management way" I would bet my chips that she might have said or did something that doesn't go according to their "marketing doctrine" Shame, as she seemed to be a committed person despite any discussions happened.

No, that was not the case. Linda did a great job. I am curious. What is Nexenta's Management Way?
